Listen, Hear, Speak, Do
how do you tell someone what they don't want to hear. how do you tell them what you don't want to say. how you craft the destructive into constructive. how do you acknowledge their weakness without overshadowing their strength. how do you explain that their weakness is their strength. how can you disappoint in care. how can you softly rebuttal assumptions without losing authenticity. how can you keep friendship alive and bury the natural effects of time. i don't want to dance. i don't want to lie. i don't want to carry on. this is it and that is all, no need to prance around. all else is dilly-dallying and time-wasting and proud. Straight to the point I say and then it'll be done. but oh how do you tell someone that you don't want their love.
this didn't mean to be poetic but it kinda meandered that way towards the end. anyhow.

hmm.... what exactly is this about? Is there something you need to tell me? :)
I think you do like Jesus. You say what God tells you to say and how to say it. Nothing more...nothing less.
John 12:49 For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it.
Takes the responsibility off of you and puts it where it belongs...
it's true. but not always easy to learn to stop my own reasoning even though it's exhausting to think so hard about things. gotta trust His control and omniscence in every situation. doesn't seem like it should be that simple. we really do like to complicate things don't we? mmmhmm..
yeah...maybe you should visualize your Visa checkcard just got stolen...or that 'our' reasoning has no effect.
It doesn't say 'man's reasoning' will lead you into all truth...
John 16:13
Yeah. Man's reasoning is erroneous. and there's this darkness of inconclusivity that plagues it. Anyone wanna opt for God's reasoning?
let's bag the whole god thing and go see the redwood queen ;)
hey... you haven't written in a really long time. :(
